Sonya & Carlos' love story started at a work training session in New York. During a break, Carlos made his way over to Sonya to introduce himself, but little did she know that he would somehow manage to make sure she was in the same breakout group during sales training! They were supposed to practice by reading scripts, but he said they didn't need a script (a very Carlos thing to say) and Sonya kept wanting to do things by the book (a very Sonya thing to do). Instead, he talked her ear off the entire time!
After the training, they went their separate ways - her to Southern California, and him back to the San Francisco Bay Area. Eventually, they got back in touch, and months later, he visited her in SoCal and they've been inseparable ever since!
Their engagement session consisted of two parts - the first part in LA, and the second to conclude back in the Bay Area. This is the first part...enjoy! - J & M
We started off at Dodgers Stadium, since the Dodgers are Sonya's favorite baseball team. Quintessential LA. A must, right?
Afterwards we went to the iconic Griffith Observatory, famous and popular among tourists for its vantage point of Los Angeles and the infamous Hollywood sign.
Lastly, we went to downtown LA to wrap up the Urban Light exhibit at the LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). This public exhibit has been unofficially adopted by LA as a symbol of the city.
