You know anyone that's been to the club and met the love of their life there? If you remember back in the day, Agenda was at the heart of the downtown San Jose club scene (where the Avery building is presently.) This was where Dave met Alaina one fateful night back in 2009, but they remained friends for a few years before they shared their first kiss!
We started their engagement session at San Jose City Hall. This area is known for its beautiful post-modern architecture, designed by renown architect, Richard Meier. He's also designed the Getty Center in Los Angeles, the Barcelona Building of Contemporary Art, and many other buildings around the world. The Rotunda, a key landmark at San Jose City Hall, lends itself as an eye-catching and beautiful backdrop with its glass dome and walls.
The evening ambiance always gives a level of romance & elegance that can't be replicated during the day! For Alaina & Dave, it makes perfect sense to take their engagement photos not only at night, but in downtown since they met in the club scene.
The Avery building, where Agenda used to be, was where it all started for Alaina & Dave.
We tied everything in by doing their last shots inside an actual night club - getting a few cocktails and getting your groove on is never a bad idea!
Looking for dynamic, epic, engagement photos that tell a story? We'd love to meet you! - Jeff & Marianne
