More often than not, successful relationships are all about timing (take it from us, we're a perfect example of that!). When Allen first laid eyes on Nguyet, it was at a Nations (you know, the burger restaurant). He had approached her but at the time, Nguyet was already taken. Time had passed and Allen's friend, Louis, threw a party and Allen saw Nguyet there. Nguyet had asked about him, but this time, Allen was the one who was taken!
Louis threw another party, and noticing that these two had some interest in each other, invited both of them to meet. This time, the timing was perfect.
Nguyet loves the fact that Allen "doesn't beat around the bush." Anyone who's met him would know that he certainly speaks his mind and gets straight to the point. He's also a big family guy and has been a strong support for Nguyet. When speaking of Allen, she says that he "always made me feel okay. He always had me look at the positive." For Allen, he knew she was the one because of their sense of compromise with each other - "we work together."
Here are a few of their photos of their San Francisco engagement session - they wanted to feature the places where they've been on dates together, but most importantly, the place where he proposed and their dog that helped him do it! Enjoy! - Jeff
Marnee Thai in San Francisco is the place where Allen took Nguyet on their first date. It was also the place where he proposed. :)
You just have to LOVE the name, "Killer!" Killer has got to be the cutest dog, EVER. He was also very photogenic and camera-ready.
When Allen proposed to Nguyet, he had Killer in a tuxedo outfit wearing a sign that said "will you marry me?"
